Comfort foams

   
In the group of comfort foams there are foams which on account of the variety of physical and mechanical properties can be divided into:
  • Polyether N CarDio foams – light foams produced using a liquid CO2 with the specific gravity of 14-18 kgm3
  • Polyether N foams which are less rigid – foams whose rigidity parametre is lower than the type specified as a standard one, for example, N 2121, N 2520, N 3030, N 3530 and N2516 foams. The effect of softness is gained by using adequate softeners.
  • Polyether N standard foams – produced with the specific gravity from 21 to 40 kg/m3
  • Polyether N foams with increased rigidity – foams whose rigidity parametre is higher than the type specified as the standard one, for example: N2550, N3050, N3550, N4060 and N 2855
  • Polyether high-elasticity (R) foams
  • Polyether high-elasticity slow-burning foams (RF)

Polyether foams are characterised by the following properties:

  • Simple, rational, dustless and hygienic treatment
  • Air permeability due to the cell structure with open porosity
  • Minor losses of rigidity when they are used
  • High hydrolitic resistance to flammability
  • High resistance to low and high temperature
  • Open porosity surface with a decorative character
  • Possibility of changing the rigidity with the same specific gravity
  • No physiological reservations
  • High resistance to solvents and chemicals
  • They can be washed and disinfected
  • Heavy metal compounds are not used in the production
  • High stability of dimensions
  • Inertness to pathogenic factors
  • Wide quality range

HIGH RESILIENCE FOAM R (HR)

It is a foam produced by using mixtures of polymeric polyols or special inoculated polyols. The polyurethane high resilence foam has got a cell structure less uniform and differing from the standard foam. Due to this structure, better parametres of supporting the person`s body, comfort and resilience are gained. The R foam is more resilient in comparison to the standard one, which causes that the furniture is more comfortable and has a longer life.

The resilience of foam is one of the most significant elements in the furniture industry.
Other elements equally significant are:
  • the capacity to recover the original shape
  • foam stability

High resilence foams recover their original shape twice as quick as the standard ones. They are stable and resistant physically and chemically including a special resistance to any deformations. The hardness of HR foam is 40% bigger than that of conventional foams with the same density.

  • optimal, anatomical adjustment to the body position comparable to latex parametres

  • possibility of making layer combinations by binding them with standard foams.

COMBUSTION MODIFIED HIGH RESILIENCE FOAM RF ( CMHR)

The combustion modified high resilience foam (RF) is produced from the raw materials designed for high-plasticity foams using extra agents based on chemical compounds used to reduce the risk of ignition and burning of materials. This foam is used mainly in the production of mattresses and furniture for public utility institutions, transport, sea navigation as well as the furniture for the British market where their non-flammable properties are required by the statutes.

The RF© foam has got a FIRA attestation.
The application of polyether foams:

  • Upholstery elements used in the furniture industry: backrests, armrests, seats, cushions, filling and finishing elements which give the products a suitable shape and comfort
  • Upholstery elements in the objects of public utility which fulfill special requirements – armchairs in the cinemas, theatres, banks, railway cars, on the ships and yachts.
  • Assembly elements for the production of mattresses with the use of many types of foam and in the forms described by the Customer.
  • Upholstery elements for the production of garden furniture.
  • Leathercraft elements
  • Construction elements for home and sports footwear.
  • Assembly elements in the constructions designed for health rehabilitation – wheelchairs, armchairs, multilayer rehabilitation mattresses.
  • Products for the children – small mattresses for prams, beds, toys.
  • Raw material for the manufacturers of household goods – flannels for washing, electric curlers.
Since the Customers have many expectations and wishes, the firm has also prepared a wide range of products.

THE VISCOELASTIC FOAMS V (VISCO FOAM, LAZY, THERMOELASTIC AND MEMORY FOAMS)

The viscoelastic foams (lazy or memory foams) are manufactured in special polyol systems. The characteristic feature of this unique foam is the capacity to adjust to the body`s shape and the increased feeling of comfort due to a larger surface of backrest, the slow recovery of the foam to its original shape after removing the weight of a person and a small elasticity. The foam is used mainly as surface elements of mattresses, cushions and the furniture of a very good quality.
